Weathered Wood Nightstands

I’m excited to share my first furniture purchase for my master bedroom makeover today!

If you remember, I used to have a pair of black nightstands that my mom and I painted years ago. I still like them very much, but I thought dark walls plus dark nightstands was too much. I’m going to re-paint them and use them in my guest room though, so no worries.

As you know, I’m a big fan of the weathered wood look, so these Better Homes and Gardens nightstands from Wal-Mart were a no-brainer. They are reasonably priced ($69) and we available for same-day store pickup. Assembly is required, but they were pretty easy to put together. There are quite a few steps, so it’s not a quick project, but not difficult at all.

I love how they look in the room! I also love my new lamps; although, I think I’m going to paint them white. They were from Michael’s a few months ago and I got a killer deal on them. I’m still working on the rest of the nightstand accessories, but the doggie pictures a definitely my favorite items. I love that puppy picture of Ringo. You might have also noticed that I also got a new bed. More details on that next week!

Lastly, I just realized that I forgot to share my to-do list in my mood board post, so let’s take a look now:
