Weekend Junk #11

Monday, June 20, 2011

I’m starting to get a little disappointed with my thrifting trips. I haven’t found a decent piece of furniture in awhile. I know I need to go more often, but with work that just isn’t possible.
However, I was pretty successful with the smaller items this weekend. I found enough frames to finish putting together my gallery wall and a few plates for another project. Although, now I’m feeling pretty indecisive about the project…should I use all white plates, antique china, or colorful plates? I can’t decide!

Anyone else do some thriftin' this weekend? Find any furniture? If so, I'm jealous!

  1. For a while, I collected white plates, hoping to hang them in a grouping, and I never got around to it. Someone has bought them from Goodwill by now...

I do like the idea though, and it does matter where you put them of course...

Notice, this is me not being decisive! It's hard to know from seven states away...

  3. This blog is so cute! I was sort of in the same boat a few months ago, because I have always lived with roommates who already had a lot of furniture, and then when it came time to fill up my own place, I realized I didn't really own any furniture, hehe! I'm excited to read more of your posts to see what you've come up with! :)

    Have a great day!

  4. What amazing finds! I found a great dresser this weekend at savers, but prices here in utah are never that great. Mainly because here everything gets so picked over, too many frugal Mormons I suppose :) Great finds though! thanks for sharing!
